A takeover from the old Pontiac BBQ, Bee's has some things that all its own and it is making exceptional food and filling the void well. The Brisket Philly hoagie was a monster of a sandwich, dripping with beef grease - it was almost too much for lunch and possible a better choice for dinner. The chips were crisp and the wait staff and bartenders very helpful and engaging.

All the meat was delicious and stood on it's own without needing to be smothered in BBQ for flavor. The meatballs were especially unique and tasty. Prices are reasonable for good BBQ, I've certainly paid more for less.

Stumbled upon this place while walking OTR looking for a spot to eat. They had a table so we decided to try it out. You order at the bar which was interesting but they bring the food and drinks out to your table which was nice. The BBQ was spectacular. We decided to get “The Hive” to try a bit of everything. The brisket, pulled pork, spare ribs, and Cincy hot link were all great. My favorites were the ribs and the sausage. The ribs had a great seasoning on them that set it apart. The Mac and cheese and sidewinder fries were the two best sides we had. The Mac and cheese sauce was rich and the perfect consistency. Plus the cheez it top added a uniqueness that I enjoyed.

Bee’s is the kind of place you realize is a top 5 restaurant in the city and THE best BBQ (hands down) and you may have not even been looking for it.. So while you wait 2 hrs for your table at some high end, hoity toity spot in OTR…..Do yourself a favor and go here, eat the wings, brisket, whatever..it doesn’t matter. It’s better than any BBQ in Cincinnati and, in my opinion, one of the best spots to eat in Cincinnati. It’s that good

Update: Was in the OTR for a business meeting and decided to stop by Bee's for a late lunch. Sadly, the ribs were not yet ready, so I was unable to get them yet again, but I wasn't too sad about it becuaee everything else was plenty delicious. My previous review said I could do without the sasuage, but I have to change that. Previously, I tried the Cincinnati sausage, but this time I got the Lockhart sasuage and man was it super tasty. I also tried the blue cheese, even though I'm not a sauce with wings kind of guy, and it is very good, but unqiue. It's much more creamy than traditional blue cheese, but in a good way. Had the brisket, turkey, wings, and sidewinder fries and have nothing negative to say about any of it. Do yourself a favor and try Bee's. As a TX/OK transplant (and amateur pitmaster), I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of BBQ I can find in Cincy, and Bee's competes for my top spot. Their brisket (which is not easy to find around here) is very fatty (in a good way) and tender, with great bark. Their wings are outstanding. If you like smoked, yet also crispy wings, then these are for you. I love smoked turkey, and while Bee's is not the top turkey in tow
